On Monday, March 24, 2025, MDA hosted a meaningful roundtable at its headquarters in Hanoi, Vietnam, with Governor Ko Young-min of Goheung County and prominent entrepreneurs from the Honam region who are actively doing business in Vietnam.

The event was organized to share MDA’s diverse experience and know-how accumulated through its overseas operations, and to explore opportunities for global market expansion and mutual cooperation.

During the discussion, MDA CEO Song In-soo introduced the company’s ongoing construction and development projects in Vietnam, as well as its agricultural business in Laos, including the successful LA FARM operations and its premium coffee brand, “LAFARM 1300,” along with macadamia cultivation. These efforts align with Goheung County’s initiative to foster the 6th industrialization of its agricultural, marine, and livestock products, paving the way for potential synergy and win-win collaboration.

The roundtable also covered key strategic initiatives of Goheung County, such as the expansion of the Goheung Smart Farm Innovation Valley and the development of drone- and UAM (Urban Air Mobility)-based tourism. Attendees discussed how MDA’s expertise and experience could contribute to and complement these efforts.

The event provided a valuable platform for participants to share broad business insights, exchange constructive ideas, and strengthen forward-looking partnerships.
