MDA Laos signed a 150ha Land Concession Agreement for a Rural Development Project on 03 October, 2022. The Governor of Champasak, Mayor of Paksong District, and Director of the Department of Planning and Investment(DPI) was attended a Agreement Ceremony.

MDA Laos signed an MOU between Champasak Government on December 2021 to promote Rural Development Project, including avocado and macadamia farms in Paksong, Champasak. Afterwards, MDA Laos conducted a Feasibility Study(FS) and Initial Environmental Examination(IEE) in accordance with the Laos Land Law, and concluded a Land Concession Agreement in recognition of its business feasibility.

This project will be developed as a BOT(Build Operate Transfer), can be developed, operated and managed by MDA for up to 99 years. MDA Laos will employ up to 200 farmers in Champasak Province and encourage to improve their quality of life through various programs.

MDA entered Laos as an agricultural business, also plans to expand the project to 4 business areas : construction, logistics, and tourism. Please show support to MDA.
